History
John A. Clark, who was the nephew of the late Thomas Duncan,
of the Duncan Meter Company, established Burmeister Electric in Minneapolis in 1919. Initially the company’s focus was supply
and service of metering products to the utilities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Dakota’s. As the years progressed Burmeister
continued to grow in product offering and geography building even stronger positions across the mid-west. In the early 1960's, Burmeister
diversified and formed High Voltage Testing Laboratory.
Additional acquisitions and locations were achieved in 2000 and 2001, and most recent, the launch of the Technical Services Group,
strengthening our support regarding revenue metering. Deep mid-west roots and customer beliefs continue to drive the decisions within
Burmeister. Today, Burmeister consists of three business units:

| Electrical Group
Providing the foundation for Burmeister,
the electrical group serves nearly 700 customers in eight states including electric cooperatives, investor-owned utilities, municipalities,
contractors, and industry consultants. We are fortunate to offer quality manufacturers committed to product excellence and technical
innovation.

| High Voltage Testing Laboratories (HVTL)
Offering forty years of re-certification experience, HVTL provides reliable protective equipment testing and service. Utilizing state-of-the-art
equipment and operating from two locations, HVTL serves over 1,200 customers in 40 states. As an accredited laboratory with a disciplined
approach to testing, HVTL establishes a strong balance between HVTL employees and the end user. A voting member of ASTM (American Society
of Testing & Materials) and an active member within NAIL (North American Independent Laboratories), HVTL delivers accreditation,
experience, and superior customer service.

| Technical Services Group (TSG)
Offering a bundled
approach to metering services including software support, consultation, training, programming, field service installation, verification,
and much more. TSG strives to optimize years of experience and exceed customer expectation.
