Why Burmeister
Since 1919 Burmeister has been dedicated exclusively to the electric utility market. We don't sell 600-volt electrical products, waterworks, heating and air conditioning, or telecom equipment. We have one focus - high voltage utility products and service. We are regional in scope and locally owned. Decisions are made quickly so we can respond to market conditions immediately. OnTime Products must be available without backorders, partial shipments, or late deliveries. Burmeister will guarantee on-time delivery performance.

PriceProtection We work with our manufacturers to provide our customer's stable and consistent pricing throughout the year.

CustomLabeling Stock numbers, bin location numbers, invoice numbers, and other pertinent information can be installed on the packing slip, invoice, and individual shipping container.

Flexibility Understanding that product requirements can spike and decline due to factors beyond your control, business partners in most cases are not required to release estimated amounts. Burmeister Electric will monitor usage and will suggest methods to optimize inventory levels.

Kitting Product packaging can be offered as a service to business partners. Examples are pad-mount transformers with connectors inside; junction enclosures with modules installed; light packages including photo control and lamp; metering cabinets with CT's and PT's already wired; guy kits including guy wire, guy attachment, guy grip, and strandvise; jumper kits; ground kits, etc.

TechnicalSupport Training Burmeister Electric provides assistance to utilities on product and application issues. We dedicate specific time to our business partners for technical updates, product training, field service analysis, specification review, and project planning. The Burmeister staff includes Electrical Engineers, Electronic Engineers, Civil Engineers, Application Technicians, and Metering Specialists.

EmergencyServices Burmeister Electric will meet customer requirements by providing 24-hour emergency service. Emergency requirements during normal business hours will be managed through normal office personnel. Emergencies occurring during non-working hours will be handled and expedited by our storm emergency response team. All team members have immediate access to inventory, delivery vehicles, and factory contacts.

ProjectTrailers Project trailers are available to business partners and will decrease product delays, minimize orders, and reduce inventory management requirements for the customer. Burmeister can manage inventory levels and will issue credit for unused product when the trailer is returned.

SupplierCoordination Burmeister will coordinate work orders, materials and supplies for those business partners that are interested. Such services can reduce the operating costs involved in project management for the customer.

LogisticManagement Burmeister can supply delivery trucks, which deliver to a job site, staging area, or warehouse. The rigs can be crew unloaded or self-unloading which is determined by our business partner.
